Theme Events in Jaipur
Grand Royal Procession Welcome:-
With this event you would be provided with the welcome that was provided to Rajput warriors when they returned home victorious after a war. At the start of this event you would be arriving in either an elephant's back or on a regal carriage. You would be accompanied by elephants and camels that are elaborately decked up for such events. You would be showered with petals of roses during your journey. Your procession would be led by horsemen and Rajasthani musicians would celebrate your arrival in their inimitable fashion.
Afterwards men can try a Safa, which is Rajasthani turban or ladies could try a Dupatta, which is a shawl. You would be greeted with garlands made out of marigolds and tikkas that are red dots, which bring good fortune. The captivating tunes of the shehnai would please you. You would also receive a welcome drink.
Baradari Dinner / Durbar Theme: -
This event would provide you with the opportunity to indulge yourself like a true monarch. The program starts after the women had been gifted chunnis or veils and men have been provided with pagaris or turbans. You would be welcomed with a shower of attar or perfume and petals of rose. Immediately afterwards you would receive a Rajasthani thali, which is a platter inclusive of the best food of that region. You are given your food on silver utensils. The food is served by attendants in traditional Rajasthani clothing on Bajots that are low tables.
Village Fair Theme: -
With this program you pass through a conventional Indian village and watch the magic created by the artists. You would see items like dolls, pottery, puppets and pichwai. In this program you would also see bandarwalahs, kachi-ghodi and dhamal and snake charmers. Bandarwalahs are artists who perform with monkeys and kachi-ghodi and dhamal is a performance with dummy horses, dancers and singers. Afterwards you could have an Indian dinner and watch a tremendous display of fire works.
Grand Rajasthani Soiree: -
With this program you would be able to see the best of Rajasthani folk dances from close quarters. You would be given a welcome fit for kings. Then you can enjoy barbecue session at the lawns of the palace and watch an awesome display of fireworks.
Elephant Polo: -
In this event you would be getting elephant rides. Your arrival would be signaled with the beating of nagadas, which are huge Indian drums. You would be given a welcome by the brass band of the royal military. Camels, Rajasthani women in traditional dresses and elephants would welcome you. Your welcome would be rounded off by delicious Indian food and music by the local artists.
