Rajasthan Tour - Delhi

Day 01- Arrive Delhi

Your Rajasthan tour starts with arriving at Delhi in the morning and as soon as you reach Delhi our representatives will meet you and make arrangements to transfer you to the hotel. Delhi is the capital of the country and thereby is the travel hub of northern India. Due to its strategic location it serves as the perfect base for visiting Agra, the romantic city of the legendary Taj Mahal and the colorful royal state of Rajasthan. So whether you want to enjoy the grandeur of the Himalayas in the north or you are particularly keen to head for the spiritual city of Varanasi in the east you will probably pass through Delhi.

So after you reach the hotel you will get enough time to settle down and freshen up in the cozy comfort of your hotel room and savor a delicious lunch at the hotel and don't forget to try out some of the mouth watering specialties of the hotel. After having your lunch we will do sightseeing tour of Delhi and you will visit India Gate, a memorial in honor of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the World War I. As a part of your Rajasthan tour you will also get the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the majestic Rashtrapathi Bhawan while driving along the Rajpath you will also come across the Parliament House and such other government buildings. Day 02 Delhi / Agra

Your next day of Rajasthan tour starts with having a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and as soon as finish your breakfast we will make arrangements for you to make a tour of Old Delhi for the entire morning. In the morning tour don't forget to visit the India Gate, a World War I memorial and you will also get to witness prayer at Jama Masjid which is the largest mosque in India or you can even enjoy a ride in cycle rickshaw from Jama Masjid through the old lanes of Chandni Chawk. Another highlight of your morning tour will be the spectacular Red Fort with its fantastic Pearl Mosque and the stunning audience halls. The Red Fort was built by the famous Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and entire fort is made of red sandstone and your morning tour will come to an end with your visit to Rajghat, the Gandhi memorial.

You will take a halt from your tour and gorge on delicious mouth watering cuisines of India in any Indian specialty restaurant. The rest of your tour in Delhi will comprise of Humayun's tomb, a grand structure in red sandstone and white marble and it is one of the most remarkable examples of a garden tomb and a predecessor of the Taj Mahal; Qutab Minar, a victory tower which was constructed in the 12th century by Qutab-uddin Aibak and the Iron Pillar, whose history can be traced back to the 4th century and is located within the spacious courtyard adjoining to the Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque and the most astonishing fact is that its iron has no rust and this has puzzled the scientists for years.

In the evening you can head towards Agra and we will make arrangements for your journey and accommodation in Agra and all you need to do is to check in at the hotel in Agra. Agra is renowned all across the globe for one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. Its architectural grandeur, along with the regal forts and palaces in Agra bears nostalgic reminders of the opulence of the mighty Mughal Empire, which ruled the country for many decades. Agra also enjoyed the status of the capital this empire for nearly one hundred years and it took 22 years to complete the construction of the Taj Mahal.

Day 03 Agra

Your third day of Rajasthan tour will start with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal and then you can return hotel for breakfast. After breakfast we will make arrangements for you to visit to Sikandra, the tomb of the greatest Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Emperor Akbar himself began the construction of the mausoleum and after his death it was completed by his son Jehangir. From Sikandra you will reach Itamad-Ud-Daula's tomb which was constructed by Empress Noor Jahan, the consort of Jehangir, in memory of her father, Ghias-ud-din Beg, in 1622-25.

Rajasthan Tour - Agra

After taking lunch at any of the fantastic restaurants of the Agra you can go to the Agra Fort, the 16th- century Mughal monument which is situated at a distance of 2 kilometers from Taj Mahal. The grand structure of the Agra Fort is made up of red sandstone and the never ending enclosure walls, the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan; audience halls like the Diwan-i-Khas; and two very beautiful mosques are some of the significant crowd pullers within the premises of the fort. Another attraction within the fort is the Musamman Burj, where Emperor Shah Jahan was imprisoned in his last years by his son Aurangzeb and died broken heart as a prisoner. Your grand tour in Agra can come to an end with a sunset visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal and you will spend the night at your hotel in Agra.

Day 04 Agra / Ranthambore

After taking breakfast in Agra you will set for the journey to Ranthambore by road and check in at the forest lodge. Ranthambore National Park is spread over a vast area of 392 square kilometers and it is highly renowned for its tigers and other endangered species and the reserve is situated between the mountain ranges of the Aravali and Vindhya.

In the afternoon of your fourth day of Rajasthan tour pay a visit to the Park where there is abundant possibility of spotting tigers. Other animals which can be seen are sambar, chital, boar, gazelle, monitor lizards, leopard, hyena, jackal, sloth bear, marsh crocodile, chinkara, nilgai and deer which assemble near the lakes and pools. Stay at the forest lodge for the night and enjoy the serene ambiance of the mystic night.

Day 05 Ranthambore

Today morning enjoy a canter ride to Ranthambhore National Park. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Ranthambore / Kota

In the morning drive to Kota and we will make arrangements for you to directly check in to the hotel in Kota. Kota is an important city of Rajasthan which is situated on the banks of the Chambal River and it was established in the 12th century and it became a princely state in the 17th century.

After having a good lunch, start exploring the attractions of Kota which predominantly comprises of the Rao Madho Singh Museum, City Palace and Fort, Jagmandir and Chambal Gardens. You will have dinner at the hotel and spend the overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 Kota / Pushkar

The bright morning of your seventh day of Rajasthan tour will start with a pleasant drive for the Ajmer and Pushkar. As soon as you arrive at Ajmer you will be directly transferred to the hotel by our representatives. In the afternoon after taking a fabulous lunch you will visit the auspicious tomb of Sufi Saint in India, Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, the Dargah Sharif and it was founded by the Chauhan ruler, Aiaipal, in the 11th century. The city of Ajmer is noted for the formidable Taragarh Fort which was constructed by Prithviraj Chauhan, the last Hindu King of India.

Pushkar is located close to Ajmer and the primary highlights in Pushkar are the holy Lake and also the famous Brahma Temple which is the only temple in the entire country which has got a deity of Lord Brahma. Day 08 Pushkar / Udaipur

Day 09 Udaipur

The city of Udaipur is one of the most romantic cities in Rajasthan and the city is named after its founder, the Sisiodia King, Maharana Udai Singh.Udiapur in 1568. Udaipur is popularly referred to as the" White City" in Rajasthan and since the city is stuffed with numerous lakes it is known as the "city of lakes" in Rajasthan. The grand lake palaces in Udaipur set like white pearls amidst the gleaming waters of Lake Pichola is feast to the eyes. In the ninth day morning of your Rajasthan tour, you will pay visit to the City Palace Complex & Museum, Crystal Gallery and Jagmandir in the Pichola Lake.

After taking a tasty lunch at the hotel, you will make an afternoon excursion which will include a trip to the famous temple complex of Eklingji & Nagda that was built in the 8th century AD. The Eklingji temple complex comprises 108 temples enclosed by high walls and Eklingji is the presiding deity. Another attraction of your afternoon excursion tour will be Nagda which is the ancient place in Mewar and it was the first capital of Bappa Rawal and your excursion will come to an end with a visit to the 10th century Sas Bahu Temple which has very fine and intricate carvings including some erotic figures.

Day 10 Udaipur / Jodhpur

In the morning of the 10th day of the Rajasthan tour leave for Ranakpur and enjoy the magnificent 15th century Jain Temples. The main shrine, Chaumukha Temple is dedicated to Bhagwan Rishabdev, the first Jain Tirthankar and after visiting the temples you will proceed towards Jodhpur. Day 11 Jodhpur / Jaisalmer

Get up early in the morning on the eleventh day of your Rajasthan tour and get prepared to enjoy sightseeing tour of Jodhpur that encompasses the majestic Mehrangarh Fort which was built by Rao Jodha in 1459 and the fort has a beautiful museum and it contains a number of grand palaces and Jaswant Thada the intricately carved white marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Day 12 Jaisalmer

On your twelfth day of your Rajasthan tour you will spend the entire day exploring the various attractions of the city of Jaisalmer and this city is situated at the heart of Thar Desert. The city of Jaisalmer is popularly referred to as the Golden City of Rajasthan and this city is teemed with ancient palaces and temples and is immensely popular famous for its exquisitely carved sandstone havelis, cobbled medieval streets and ancient Jain temples. In the morning visit to the 12th century Jaisalmer Fort which is made of yellow sandstone and then head for the Sam Sand Dunes. Spend the night at the hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 13 Jaisalmer / Bikaner

Start your day at Jaisalmer early by having a breakfast at the hotel and then leave for Bikaner which is situated at a distance of 333 kilometers and the entire journey will take 6 hours and on the way you can also visit of the Karni Mata Temple in Deshnoke on the way and in the afternoon visit to the Junagarh Fort and the Jain temples at Bikaner and spend the entire night at your hotel in Bikaner.

Day 14 Bikaner / Jaipur

In the morning of the fourteenth day of your Rajasthan tour drive to Jaipur which will take almost 6 hours and the once you reach Jaipur just check in at the hotel and spend the day at your leisure. Since Jaipur is the paradise for shoppers so it is a good idea to go for shopping in Jaipur.

Day 15 Jaipur

In the fifteenth day of the Rajasthan tour you will come across the various sightseeing attractions of Jaipur and some of premier attractions include Janter Mantar Observatory, built by the astronomer King Raja Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century or the spectacular Hawa Mahal or explore the city palace museum.

In the afternoon come back to the hotel to take your lunch and then you will go for an exciting afternoon excursion tour to the Amber Fort and Palace, one of the finest examples of the grandeur of Rajput architecture. Day 16 Jaipur / Delhi

Day 17 Delhi
