Nepal Tibet Tour - 16 Nights/17 Days

Day 01 : Arrival-Delhi

On your arrival at the Delhi Airport you will be warmly received by our representative . He will also arrange your transfer to the hotel. Check in at the hotel and day is spent in relaxation. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Delhi-Kathmandu (By Flight)-Bhaktapur

Today you will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight to Kathmandu-which is the largest city and capital of Nepal . On arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to Bhaktapur. On arrival at Bhaktapur, ,check in at the hotel and spend the day in relaxation. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Bhaktapur-Patan-Kathmandu ( Kathmandu Guest House)

After breakfast , proceed for sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur also known as Bhadgaon visiting the Durbar Square (Plaza Mayor)-a conglomeration of pagoda style temples and Sikh grouped around fifty-five window palace brick and wood. The square is one of the most charming architecture of the Valley, and highlighting the ancient art of Nepal. The golden effigies of kings located on top of stone monoliths, the guardian looking deities from their sanctuaries, the wood carvings in every place-struts, lintels, uprights, tympanums, doors and windows, all seem a well orchestrated symphony. You visit the Golden Gate - which is said to be the most beautiful and rich molding shows of its kind in the world. The door is surmounted by a figure of the goddess Kali and Garuda (the mythical man bird) and attended by two heavenly nymphs. Place like a jewel, flashing innumerable facets in the beautiful setting of your surroundings. Then visit the Palace of fifty five windows - This magnificent palace was built during the reign of King Yakshya Malla in 1427 AD and was subsequently remodeled by King Bhupatindra Malla in the seventeenth century. Between the walls brick with its elegant setting and sculptural design, is a balcony with fifty-five windows, which are considered a unique masterpiece of woodcarving. In the afternoon excursion to Patan. Also known as Lalitpur, the city of beauty is the second largest city in the valley. Patan Durbar Square center is absolutely full of temples: architecture a center with a much greater concentration of temples square meter in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. The city also is the center for refugees Tibetans, home to most of the Tibetan valley of the population. Day 04: Kathmandu

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Kathmandu visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square which one of the three Durbar (Royal Palace) squares in Kathmandu Valley is the site of Hanuman Dhoka Palace complex, which was Nepal's royal residence until the 19th century and important ceremonies, such as the coronation of the monarch Nepal, still take place today. Then visit one of the most curious attractions in Nepal, Kumari Chowk. This gilded cage containing the Raj Kumari (Princess), a young girl chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the human incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess, Durga . (Goddess). She is revered for holidays and makes public appearances at other times a fee paid to her guards. Then visit

Swayambunath or Monkey Temple which offers panoramic view of the city, then you will also visit the Boudhanath an imposing Buddhist Stupa. Next you will pay a visit to Pashupatinath which is prime attraction here . This is Lord Shiva's Temple . After sightseeing, return to hotel . Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Kathmandu-Lhasa (By Flight)

Morning you will fly for about an hour over the panoramic Himalayan Ranges to the capital of Tibet. "Lhasa" . Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 mt, is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan means "Place of the Gods", the residence of the Dalai Lama., On arrival you will be met by the local representative and transferred to your respective hotelFull rest in the afternoon to acclimatize. Overnight at hotel in Lhasa .

Day 06: Lhasa

After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Lhasa visiting Potala Palace, Norbhulinka Palace, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazar. Potala Palace, this legendary palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king Songtsen Gompa. Norbulingka meaning 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet. Jokhang Temple, situated in the heart of Old Lhasa, it houses Tibet's most precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha which was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompo. Barkhor Market place, is the religious and social focus of Lhasa. After sight seeing you will be transferred to hotel . Overnight at hotel in Lhasa

Day 07: Lhasa Sightseeing

After breakfast , proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Lhasa visiting Sera Monastery & Drepung Monastery. Sera Monastery, 5 Kms north of Lhasa, is one of Lhasa's prettiest monasteries. Once a community of more than 5,000 monks resided here and was virtually extinguished by the Chinese. Drepung Monastery is known as the important monastery of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. After visiting return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08: Lhasa-Ganden-Drak-Yerpa

Moning drive to Drak Yerpa. Drak Yerpa hermitage is one of the holiest cave retreats in Tibet. The site is deeply peaceful and has stunning views. There are many caves and retreats higher up the cliff face. Then visit Ganden Monastery which is the first monastery of Yellow Hat sect. You could see the countryside views there. Drive back to Lhasa. Overnight at hotel in Lhasa.

Day 09 : Lhasa_Gyantse

After breakfast, drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok, the Turquoise Lake to Gyangtse . Overnight at hotel in Gyantse.

Day 10: Gyantse-Xigatse

After breakfast, visit Kumbum Stupa, Phalkor Monastery. Later drive Xigatse. Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery. Overnight at hotel in Xigatse.

Day 11: Xigatse-Sakya

Today drive to Sakya . Visit Sakya Monastery. Overnight at hotel in Sakya.

Day 12: Sakya-Rongbuk-Tingri

Scenic drive to Ronbuk, stop point near and take a bus OF Everest Conservation to Rongbuk. Visit Rongbuk Moanstery ( hightest monastery at 4980m) and continue drive to Tingri. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 13: Tingri-Nyalam

Drive to Nyalam crossing over NYALAMU PASS(3,800 M) and Lalung la(5,050M) from where you can see, breath taking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges (weather permitting). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 14: Nyalam-Border-Last Resort

Scenic drive to Zhangmu and continue drive to the (Tibet/Nepal border) and after necessary border formalities both at Chinese & Nepalese immigration, drive to Kodari. Overnight at The Last Resort.

Day 15: Last Resort---Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16: Kathmandu-Delhi (By Flight)

After breakfast, in time transfer to airport to board flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, transfer to hotel. Check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17: Delhi-Departure

Today after breakfast, check-out from hotel at 1200 noon and in time transfer to airport to board flight to your onward destination.
