Adventure Tour to Nepal

Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu
The first day when you arrive in Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel. Once you reach this place you can spend some time seeing the fascinating Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines. These temples and shrines reflect ancient local traditions. Besides seeing all these you can plan a guided tour to explore the city's many other charms. Enjoy a delicious and traditional Nepali welcome dinner in the night. Spend the night in your hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu City Tour
After breakfast, you will be taken to Swayambhunath temple. This temple is said to be of 2000 years. There is a stupa on a hillock next to it which offers breathtaking view of Kathmandu city. From there you can visit Pasupatinath and Bouddhanath. After your lunch keep some time for Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur). This is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley. It is famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples. If you come here you will be lucky to see the work of the traditional artisans working with wood, stones and metals. Overnight be in Kathmandu.
Day 03 : Kathmandu - Pokhara
Take an early breakfast in the 3rd day of your adventure tour to Nepal. A drive to Pokhara will take you to the place by late afternoon. In Pokhara enjoy one of the most beautiful Himalayan sights in the world. The Annapurna and the famous "Fishtail" mountain peak of Machhapuchhare tower in Pokhara is a sight that cannot be forgotten easily. In the evening prepare yourself for a trek to Poon Hill. Stay the night in Pokhara.
Day 04 : Pokhara - Tikhedhunga Trek
After breakfast the adventure tour to Nepal will take you to Nayapul by car. On the way witness the large village of Lumle and walk about 20 minutes to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town. Come to the main street of Birethanti and from there go through the bamboo forests and see a large waterfall and swimming hole. Next the trail reaches Sudami where you can have your lunch. After lunch climb the valley to reach Hile. Hile is at 1495m. It is near by Tirekhedhunga. The hamlets on the way offer great camping opportunities. Reach Tirkhedhunga by night.
Day 05 : Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani
The adventure tour to Nepal also includes Ghorepani. From Tirkhedhunga, cross a stream on a suspension bridge, which is near the camp site. Further, ascend a steep stone staircase to the large Magar village Ulleri at 2070m. Here you will be in front of pastures and cultivated fields. There are magnificent Rhododendron and Oak forests also.
Your journey from here will lead you to two sparkling clear streams. After that make a short and final climb to Nangethanti. Take your lunch at Nangethanti. The name Nangethanti came from the Nepali word Thanti which means "rest house" or "Dharmasala". Finally from Nangethanti take a one hours trek and climb to Ghorepani which is at 2850m. The most adventurous of the lot can easily reach the top of the Ghorepani pass and camp there. That night you will be at Ghorepani.
Day 06 : Ghorepani - Poon hill - Tadapani
In the 6th day of Nepal adventure tour start an early morning journey with a climb to Poon Hill (3195m) in around 1 hour. This climb will help you get a better view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. You can also see a variety of white mountain peaks from Poon Hill. After sunrise, return to your camp and have your breakfast. From Ghorepani you can take a muddy path through the deep forests. From here you can have good mountain views including views of Machhapuchhare. This view is not possible from Grohrepani pass. The sight is similar to the views from Poon Hill.
Carrying the journey forward take the ridge of pine and rhododendron forests. This will lead to a second pass called Deurali at 2960 meters. This is an interesting part of adventure tour to Nepal. Here, you are supposed to make a steep and treacherous descent on a narrow path alongside the stream. You will also see a series of waterfalls over a jumble of boulders. The steep descent takes a gentle course once it reaches Banthanti. Here you can take your lunch which would be for an hour. From Banthanti, carry your tour forward from the stream down to a bridge where it again needs some climbing. After crossing some high mountain forests and fields of cane you can enter the vantage point called Tadapani. Tadapani is at 2540 meters.It offers a brief view of the mountains. Tadapani means "far water". That night stay in Tadapani.
Day 07 : Tadapani - Landrung
From Tadapani the adventure tour to Nepal will take you to another wonderful location in the country. After taking an early breakfast start your itinerary towards Landrung . This journey takes approximately 6 hours from Tadapani. It goes through the forests and terraced fields to the Khummu Khola. From there gently move over the streams and finally come over on the ridge to Ghandrung. Have you lunch in Ghandrung. Ghandrung is a huge Gurung village at 1940 meters. It is the second largest Gurung village in Nepal. It is a village of closely spaced, slate-roofed houses. You will see terraced fields situated both above and below the town. There is a large handicraft factory at the top of Ghandrung. Views of Annapurna South from here are going to be an experience for you. From Ghandrung come down hill to Sauli Bazaar. The down hill tour leads to the river and then finally you reach Landrung. Landrung is another Gurung village at 1550 meters. Overnight in Landrung.
Day 08 : Landrung - Dhampus
Take your breakfast in the 8th morning of the Nepal adventure tour and then go further from Landrung to Tolka. Tolka is a small settlement at 1710 meters. It has several lodges on its way. The trail also leads to the main Modi Khola Valley. Enjoy the climbs through forests vibrant with birds, fern and orchids. Here, you will also witness a huge side canyon of the Modi Khola. From there cross a stream on a suspension bridge at 1690 meters. The first point from here will be Bichok which is also known as Bheri Kharka. Climb through the forests to a clearing on the top of the hill at 2010 meters. Take great views of the mountains in Nepal when you are here. Have your lunch and take a break. Dhampus is at 1580 meters from Deurali. The journey takes around 2 and a half hours. See Pothana on the way. At Dhampus, you can once again enjoy beautiful views of the mountains in Nepal. Overnight you should be at Dhampus.
Day 09 : Dhampus - Pokhara
From Dhampus the adventure tour to Nepal takes a new turn. Start the journey all the way downhill through the villages to Phedi. The villages are at an elevation of 1580 meters. After that you will find many forests. The forests take the shape of manicured municipal parks. Once you are finished, your next itinerary is to reach Pokhara that takes approximately 2 hours. Take your lunch at a hotel in Pokhara. Stay the night over in Pokhara.
Day 10 : Pokhara City Tour
Keep some time for Pokhara city tour in the 10th day of your itinerary. After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing around Pokhara valley. Pokhara Valley is also called "Magic Land" or Dreamland" of Nepal. This is the time to explore the various interesting sites in Pokhara. If you like boating then go for boating in Phewa Lake. This lake overlooks the region of Annapurna Areas, David Falls, Mahendra Cave and some temples. After lunch you can do some shopping. Stay in Pokhara for that night.Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 11 : Pokhara - Rafting - Royal Chitwan National Park
After having your breakfast at Pokhara take a scenic drive to Chitwan. The road to Chitwan will follow the Trisuli River for most of the distance. The drive will lead to the rafting spot on the river and on the way you can enjoy some beautiful sceneries. Once you reach the river, engage yourself in rafting on the Trisuli River. This river is very popular as access to the Prithivi Highway is made easy through it. After a few hours of river rafting, drive to Chitwan National Park. When you reach the park, first of all rooms will be assigned to you in the nearby lodge. Then there will be a short briefing on the program and facilities of the Lodge. In the evening get set for an elephant safari. In the process explore the jungle and its wildlife. In the park you can see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and even the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride on the back of an elephant can be considered as the best part of your adventure tour to Nepal. The ride lasts for 2-3 hours. Take rest after returning to your lodge. Your dinner will be served at the central dining hall. Overnight at Chitwan.
Day 12 : Royal Chitwan National Park
The next morning after waking up go for a nature walk. This is going to be your first encounter on foot with the environment. You will be introduced to the main features of eastern Chitwan when you take this walk. Get yourself exploring the Sal forest, open grassland and reverie jungle. You can also notice certain species of birds, plants and other wildlife. The guide will identify them to you. Overnight at Chitwan.
Day 13 : Royal Chitwan National Park- Kathmandu
Enjoy some bird watching or another elephant ride in the 13th day of your itinerary. After your breakfast be prepared ,to go back to Kathmandu. But before that get set to have another safari in the jungle. Here, you will be accompanied by expert naturalists who will advise you on safety procedures. If you want to take a walk in the jungle alone allow a guide to accompany you for your safety. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 14 : Departure
After having your breakfast in Kathmandu pack your bags because you have come to the point of leaving the place. Reach the international airport and take the flight for your final destination.
