Day1 :Arrival in Kathmandu

Our guide will help you to get transferred to the hotel as soon as you arrive in Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 :Kathmandu

You start your tour with a full day city sightseeing programme. The well known places that you will visit are Pashupatinath, Boudhnath, Swayambhunath, Patan and Darbar Square. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 3 :Kathmandu

The day is your own to spend the way you like. Kathmandu is the best place for shopping in Nepal for unique Nepali items. Don’t miss out on locally made handicrafts as they are quite special and rare. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 :Kathmandu – Zhangmu

In early morning itself, we will drive to the Nepal China border Koari. After Chinese immigration formalities, you will be taken across the friendship bridge on foot and then a 4 hr drive to Zhangmu which is 115 km away. On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 :Zhangmu – New Tingri

While going Xegar, we cross through the famous Nyalam and Lulung Passes. The drive is going to be an absolute treat for all beauty admirers as the journey offers brilliant sights of Himalayas and Mt. Everest. On arrival, check in at the hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 :New Tingri – Shigatse

The drive to Shigatse is going to be a long one. It will take around 8 hrs to cover the 244 km journey. Once you are in Shigatse, you will be directly taken to the best hotel of the town for an overnight stay. Even after Check in, you have ample of time to move out into the city and explore the customs and way of living of the locales.

Day 7 :Shigatse – Gyantse

In morning, visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery and the free market at Shigatse which is quite famous for the paintings and traditional wear. We recommend to shop here. Later in the day, we drive to Gyantse which is almost 90 km away and will take more than 2 hrs. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Evenings are reserved for a visit to Palkhor Monastery and Kumbum Stupa. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8 :Gyantse – Lhasa

Drive to Lhasa crossing from KARO Pass, Yamdruk Lake and KAMBA Pass. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 :In Lhasa

Full day Lhasa city tour of Lhasa visiting Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 :In Lhasa

Full day visit to Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery and Norbulingka. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11 :Lhasa / Kathmandu – Kathmandu / Varanasi

In time transfer to airport to board flight CA 407 that leaves Lhasa at 1035 hrs local time and arriverw in Kathmandu at 0935 hrs local Kathmandu time. Rest in Transit lounge and then proceed for your next flight to Varanasi AI 252 that departs from Kathmandu 1425 hrs local time and arrives in Varanasi at 1505 hrs IST. In Varanasi our tour operator will guide you to the hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 12 :Varanasi

Early morning boat ride on river Ganges and then a half day city tour that will take you to Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Bharat Hindu University, Vishwanath Temple and the famous Varanasi Ghats. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13 :Varanasi – Amritsar – Dharamshala

In time transfer to Railway station to board the overnight Amritsar mail that leaves Varanasi at 0927 hrs and arrives at Amritsar at 0855 hrs. Enjoy the new experience of sleeping in a train that definitely is going to be a memorable one.

Day 14 :Amritsar – Dharamshala

Meeting assistance on arrival in Amritsar and drive to Dharamshala. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15 :Dharamshala

You can explore Dharamshala musch famous as a Buddhist Pilgrimage destination. The place is good for shopping of locally made handicrafts that are quite unique. Here you will be visiting the Buddhist monasteries, ancient temples and will also indulge into small trek in the foot hills of Himalayas.

Day 16 :Dharamshala – Pathankot – Laksar

Day free for leisure. At evening transfer to railway station for boarding Sealdah Express to Laksar. The train leaves Dharamshala at 2205 hrs. and arrives at Laksar at 0717 hrs. You will spend another night on the train.

Day 17 :Laksar – Rishikesh

Meet our guide on arrival at Laksar railway station who will lead you to Rishikesh. The holy town much known for its asharams, yoga and meditation resorts and of-course the thrill of river rafting on the rivere Ganges. On arrival, check in at hotel. Your entire day is sheduled so that you can enjoy the every possible activity here. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 18 :Rishikesh

Explore the sacred town of Rishikesh where you will experience a new faith at every corner. The town is not too big so can explore the city on foot itself. The city is also rich in unique shopping items. Shop for some of the exclusive religious items besides holy books, jewelry, handicrafts. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 19 :Rishikesh – Haridwar

The day is the last of this tour. After checking out of the hotel we will drive for Haridwar, it will take just an hour to reach the holy town of Ganges. Enjoy the aarti on the Har Ki Pauri ( Ganga Ghats) in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 20 :Haridwar

There will be entire day sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the many ghats that are a distinct feature of the city. There is an hour trek up to the Mansa Devi Temple perched on the Trikuta Hills, a cable car journey up to the temple can be the other option to rech the hill top. Back to the hotel for an overnight saty.

Day 21 :Haridwar – Delhi

Today drive to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 22 :Delhi Departure

The day is the last day of this tour. You will be transferred to the Delhi Airport in time for your next flight for your onward journey.

Day 4 :Rudrapur – Banbasa – Bardia

After your breakfast in the hotel, drive to Banbasa (Nepal Border) which is 90 km away and takes nearly 4 hrs. Enroute visit Nanak Mata Gurudwara (Sikh Temple) and Nanak Sagar Lake. On arrival after, Nepalese Immigration formalities, walk down to cross the border to enter Nepal where coach will be waiting. Drive to Bardia National Park which is 142 km away. Day 5 :Bardia

Day 6 :Bardia – Butwal – Pokhara

Day 7 :Pokhara – Sarankot – Pokhara

Early morning start to the trekking adventure in Sarankot hills (About 3 hrs light trek ). Lunch on the way and return to Pokhara. A half day city tour of Pokhara including boat ride at Fawa lake. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8 :Pokhara – Kathmandu

Day 11 :Zhangmu – Xegar

Drive to Xeger crossing the Nyalam and Lulung passes in Tibet. The drive will be 242 km long and will take 8 hrs. The journey will be absolutely scintillating as you will get the best views of the Himalayas and Mt. Everest. On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12 :Xegar – Shigatse

After a warm and delicious Tibetan breakfast, drive to Shigatse which is approximately 244 km away and we will require around 8 hrs to cover the distance. Shigatse is around 4000m above sea level, so it is going to be a bit chilly. On arrival, directly check in the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13 :Shigatse – Gyantse

Morning is for a pleasant sightseeing session inside Shigatse itself. Visit the famous Tashilhunpo Monastery. In the afternoon, head for Gyantse which is not too far from here. It will take around 2 hrs to cover the distance of 90 km. After you check in at your hotel, move on to explore Palkhor Monastery and Kumbum Stupa. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 :Gyantse – Lhasa

In the first half of the day, we will drive to the Tibetan Capital city of Lhasa. Along the journey, we will cross through KARO Pass (5010 m), KAMBA Pass (4794 m) and mesmerizing Yamdruk Lake. On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 15 :In Lhasa

Lhasa is the most important city of Tibet and holds many wonders to be explored. The day is completely set aside for a sightseeig tour visiting places like Barkhor street, Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. Back to the hotel for a rejuvenating night stay.

Day 16 :In Lhasa

This day too is we will be coverig the other attractions of the city. Visit the Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery and Norbulingka. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 18 :Lhasa / Kathmandu – Kathmandu / Delhi

You will be transferred to airport in time to board flight CA 407 to Kathmandu which leaves at 1035 hrs, local Tibetan time. The arrival at Kathmandu will be at 0925 hrs according to local time of Kathmandu. Fly to Delhi by flight SG 042 which leaves Kathmandu airport at 1055 hrs, local time and reaches Delhi at 1230 hrs. Day 19 :Departure from Delhi

Checkout of the hotel at 1200 hrs and transfer to airport where you will board the flight for your onward journey.

After getting yourself refreshed, visit the renowned Rimpung Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang, Drgyel Dzong, Dungtsey Lhakhang and Taktsang Monastery. Day 4 :Paro – Thimpu

Your day starts with a visit to National Museum. Later, drive to Thimpu which is around 65 km away and it takes around 1 hr to cover the distance. On arrival, check in at hotel. There is still ample of time left in the day, so visit the Memorial Chorten, Tashicho Dzong, Handicrafts Emporium, National Library, Painting School, Traditional Medicine Institute, City View Point, Traditional Paper Factory, Mini Zoo and folk Heritage Museum. After the hectic day of city tour, back to the hotel for a rejuvenating night sleep.

Day 5 :Thimpu – Punakha Wandue Phodrang

The day is for your relaxation and city exploration. After a delicious breakfast, drive to Punakha Wandue Phodrang which is located at a distance of 70 km from here and it will take around 1 hr to cover the distance. After you check into the hotel, spend the day as you like. We suggest you to spend some quality time exporing the town on foot, experiencing the city life and its people. Day 6 :Wandue Phodrang – Paro

Drive back to Paro which from this town is at a distance of 135 km. Ready yourself for a mesmerizing 3 hrs journey through the beautiful landscapes. On arrival, check in at hotel. The rest of day, you can spend as per your will. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 :Paro – Kathmandu

After the breakfast, transfer to airport for boaarding the flight KB 206 which leaves Paro at 1140 hrs and reaches Kathmandu at 1225 hrs. You will be picked up by our guide and transferred to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8 :Kathmandu – Zhangmu

Head to Koari in the morning, from where you will cross the friendship bridge to Zhangmu after completing all the immigration formalities. There is again a drive to the main Zhangmu center which is around 115 km long and takes around 4 hrs to cover. After arrival, check in at hotel. Enjoy the pleasant Zhangmu climate. Day 9 :Zhangmu – New Tingri

Drive to Xegar crossing Nyalam (3800 m) and Lulung (5050 m) passes. The journey is an absolute dream for all nature lovers as one gets stunning views of the high Himalayas including the great Mt. Day 10 :Tsedang-Lhasa/Kathmandu (By Flight)

The day is set for another long journey through the sublime landscapes of Tibet. The distance between New Tingri and Shigatse is around 244 km and it takes around 8 hrs to cover the distance. On arrival, check in at hotel. You will still have half the day with you that you can spend which ever way you want. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11 :Shigatse – Gyantse

The distance between Shigatse and Gyantse is not much. The 90 km stretch can easily be covered in 2 hrs. So before leaving Shigatse, we visit the enchanting Tashilhunpo Monastery and the free market. We continue our drive to Gyantse. In the evening, visit the Palkhor Monastery and Kumbum stupa. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 :Gyantse – Lhasa

After a sumptuous Tibetan breakfast, drive towards the capital city of Lhasa. The 8 hrs ride takes you through KARO Pass (5010 m), KAMBA Pass (4794 m) and Yamdruk Lake. The distance is around 259 km. Upon arrival, directly check in at hotel. Remove all the exhaustions of the long drive by resting for the night in the calm atmosphere of the hotel.

Day 13 :In Lhasa

Lhasa is a city full of surprises and fantasies. The day is for exploring the attractions of the city, there will bea a full day sightseeing city tour. Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. Back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14 :In Lhasa

After breakfast full day sightseeing of Sera Monastery, Jokhang Monastery, Barkhor Market. Sera Monastery, 5 Kms north of Lhasa, Sera setting is one of Lhasa’s prettiest monasteries. Once a community of more than 5,000 monks resided here and was virtually extinguished by the Chinese. Day 3 :Lhasa

After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing of Potala Palace, Ramoche Monastery and & Norbulinka. Potala Palace, this legendary palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king Songtsen Gompa. Norbulingka meaning ‘Treasure Park’ covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet. Day 4 :Lhasa-Shigatse

Morning drive to Shigatse (273 km). Shigaste is Tibet’s 2nd most important city. Later proceed for sightseeing of flee-market. After sight seeing you will be transferred to hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 5 :Shigatse-Gyantse

Morning sightseeing of Tashilunpo Monastery. Tashilunpo Monastery was founded in 1447 and is the largest Yellow Hat sect monastery in Tibet. Tashilunpo was the seat of the Panchen Lamas. Tashilunpo contains chortens, temples and the Panchen Lama’s palace. At its peak, Tashilunpo had more than 4,000 monks in its 4 monasteries.

Afternoon drive to Gyantse (90 km). Gyantse is a small town south west of Lhasa. It is one of the few places where the Chinese have not changed much. Gyantse is known because of its Fortress, the Dzong, a very special building ,the Kimbum, and a monastery. In Gyantse sightseeing of Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery. A little further down the road is a wall build around a monastery and a strange building called the Kumbum. The monastery is called Pelkor Chode. It was founded in 1418. Formally there were a number of monasteries inside the walls but today there is just one left. It is visited by Gelugpa monks. The Kumbum is a building with a strange form. Inside it is even more strage because on the first 4 floors there are rooms that are only on 1 floor but also rooms that extend over 2 floors. Inside you can find a large number of statues. Day 6 :Gyantse-Tsedang

After breakfast, drive to Tsedang via Yamdrok Lake (280km). Tsedang sits on the south bank in the middle section of the YarlungTsangbo River with a moderate climate at an altitude of 3,600 meters. Tsedang is the birthplace of earliest Tibetans who were said to be the offspring of a monkey and a demoness, so Tsedang literally means “monkey’s playground”. Here’s a legend. People said that genius had lived here long before human being resided in Tibet. After the Gods of the genius got married, they had six sons who became the ancestors of the six tribes of Tibet respectively. Tsedang is the hometown of tribes and an important place of origin of the Tibetan culture. Upon arrival you will be transferred to hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel Tsedang or similar (3400m).

Day 7 :Tsedang

Today after breakfast, sightseeing of Yambulaghang and Samye. Samye Monastery was the first Buddhist monastery to be founded in Tibet. It is also notable as the site of the “Great Debate” (792 794) between the Indian Mahayanists and Chinese Chán (Zen) Buddhists.Samye is famous for its sacred mandala design: the central temple symbolizes the legendary Mount Meru, center of the universe. It is a popular pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists, some of whom travel on foot for weeks to reach it. Overnight at Hotel Tsedang or similar.

Day 8 :Tsedang-Lhasa/Kathmandu (By Flight)

Norbulingka meaning ‘Treasure Park’ covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet. Jokhang Temple, situated in the heart of Old Lhasa, it houses Tibet’s most precious religious relic, a golden Shakyamuni Buddha which was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompo. After sight seeing you will be transferred to hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 3 :Lhasa

After breakfast full day sightseeing of Sera Monastery, Jokhang Monastery, Barkhor Market. Sera Monastery, 5 Kms north of Lhasa, Sera setting is one of Lhasa’s prettiest monasteries. Once a community of more than 5,000 monks resided here and was virtually extinguished by the Chinese. Day 4 :Lhasa

After breakfast, visit Tibetan Medical Institute. Afternoon free. Overnight at hotel in Lhasa.

Day 5 :Lhasa/Kathmandu (By Flight)

Transfer to airport to connect return flight.
