Tip - You can book a flight to see the Himalaya for sure. After that there is no urgency to go to Negarot.

Day 1 Arrival Bangalore and drive to Hampi ( 340 Kms 6 hrs)

On arrival at Bangalore Transfer to Hotel for overnight stay. If time permits we will take you on the day city tour or else relax at your hotel and prepare yourself for the most beautiful ruins which we are going to see next day.

Day 2 Bangalore / Hampi drive (340 / 6 hrs)

Early morning after breakfast leave for Hampi the city of Ruins. Hampi is an ancient village in the south Indian state of Karnataka. It’s dotted with numerous ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire. On the south bank of the River Tungabhadra is the 7th-century Hindu Virupaksha Temple, near the revived Hampi Bazaar. A carved stone chariot stands in front of the huge Vittala Temple site. Southeast of Hampi, Daroji Bear Sanctuary is home to the Indian sloth bear.

Upon arrival transfer to hotel Evolve back and when you reach the hotel main entrance you will get the feeling that you are Traveling back in time to the glorious days of the 14th century Vijayanagara Empire. Let the stone monuments at Hampi tell you the story of what was once described as “the best provided city in the world”. With stunning rugged forests and boulders forming its backdrop, Evolve Back Kamalapura Palace, Hampi is located just 4 km from this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its fort-like entrances, stone-paved boulevards, arched hallways and regal chambers mirror the famed palaces of a bygone but glorious era. Afternoon is kept free to enjoy the hotel and optional message which can be booked at a feasible time when you want to get it. Dinner and overnight at this beautiful hotel.

Day 3 Hampi

After Breakfast meet your guide who will brief you about the Hampi first before you start your day and explore the ruins. Then with a guide start your full day tour of ruins, ancient Temples and you will be amazed with the integrated carvings on the stones and how the Empire used to look like in ancient times. Lunch will be outside in a restaurant (Farm Lunch) where the local delicacies will be served and you will eat in steel plates but with banana leaf on the bottom of plates. After Lunch continue your city tour and evening return back to the hotel.

Day 4 Hampi / Chikmagalur (295 Kms 6 hrs)

After Breakfast start your day with a drive to Chikmagalur. Chikmagalur is a hill station in Karnataka, a state in southwest India. To the north is Baba Budangiri, a mountain range in the Western Ghats, with 3 large caves said to be holy. Trails through forests and grasslands lead up to Mullayanagiri Peak. The cascading Hebbe Falls lie in an area of coffee plantations. The forested Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, northwest of Chikmagalur, is home to elephants, tigers and leopards.

Upon arrival at Chikmagalur transfer to Serai which is a coffee plantation luxury resort Perched on a verdant hillock in the Western Ghats and surrounded by the rich history, sundry emotions, and diverse savours of coffee. Quench your thirst along with your curiosity at this luxury resort.

Afternoon is kept free to enjoy the coffee plantations and the natural beauty at resort and take part in Eco and responsible activities. Dinner and overnight at Resort.

Day 5 Chikmagalur

After breakfast Hiking through the natural beauty in Chikmagalur is one of the most sought-after experiences among nature lovers. Explore the tranquil trails and behold scenic views that are akin to paradise.It is 1 hour walk and later you may choose other optional activities or enjoy the lovely surroundings and spend time with nature. Dinner and overnight at Resort.

Day 6 Chikmagalur / Coorg (160 Kms 3 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Madikeri (Coorg) is a hill town in southern India. Framed by the Western Ghats mountain range, it’s known for the Raja’s Seat, a simple monument overlooking forests and rice paddies. In the center, the 17th-century Madikeri Fort features 2 stone elephants at the entrance. Nearby, the domed Omkareshwar Temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva. To the northwest, cascading Abbey Falls is surrounded by spice plantations. Upon arrival we will transfer you to Evolve Back Hotel.

When you step into the portals of Evolve Back Chikkana Halli Estate, Coorg, you leave one world behind, and step seamlessly into another: the bygone era of the Gentleman Planter. The day is kept free to enjoy nature and surroundings. Dinner and overnight at Resort.

Day 7 Coorg

After breakfast visit the village by foot or by bicycles as you wish with a guide who will explain to you about the village and will be your one point contact to understand the locals. He will take you to a temple and if possible to a local house and will also take you to a local tea shop where you will see the locals sitting and sipping the cup of tea and reading the newspaper and chatting with each other. Return to the Hotel and then we will take you on bird watching and plantation visit. Evening visit to a coffee plantation and see how the coffee is processed. Later you return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 Coorg / Kabini (143 / 3 hrs)

After breakfast checkout and drive to Kabini. The Kabini River is one of the major tributaries of the river Cauvery in southern India. It originates near Kavilumpara in Kozhikode district of Kerala state by the confluence of the Panamaram River and the Mananthavady River.

Upon arrival at Kabini we will transfer you to another beautiful and luxury resort of Evolve Back. Evolve Back’s Spirit of the land philosophy finds its most intimate expression at Kabini, where you are drawn into the vibrant social tapestry of the local Kadu Kuruba tribe. Day 9 Kabini

At Evolve Back Kuruba Safari Lodge, Kabini, we help you get closer to the spirit of the land by offering a platter full of activities that let you choose your activity level and the degree of separation from the wild. So, whether you’d prefer being a spectator or a participant is left to you. All the activities here have been designed around the uniqueness of the location and the local culture, and afford you the chance to exercise both your mind and body. Some of them are Boat Safari / Nature Walk / Kuruba Tribal dance / Coracle ride / Vehicle safari and you can choose any of them on the spot. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 10 Kabini / Mysore (35 / 45 mnts)

After Breakfast drive to Mysore and upon arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon half day tour of Mysore Palace, Chamundi hill and Devraja Flower Market. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 Mysore / Bangalore and fly out.

Breakfast and then checkout from hotel and drive to Bangalore airport which is 3.5 hrs drive and if time permits then visit the botanical gardens and some other places of interest and late evening transfer to airport to connect flight back home.

Day 1 Arrival Delhi (by International Flight)

Upon arrival transfer to Hotel for Overnight stay. Delhi, India’s capital territory, is a massive metropolitan area in the country’s north. In Old Delhi, a neighborhood dating to the 1600s, stands the imposing Mughal-era Red Fort, a symbol of India, and the sprawling Jama Masjid mosque, whose courtyard accommodates 25,000 people. Nearby is Chandni Chowk, a vibrant bazaar filled with food carts, sweets shops and spice stalls.

Day 2 Delhi / Agra (Drive 200 Kms and 3 hrs Drive)

Morning after breakfast drive to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra Transfer to Hotel and then afternoon visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays) and then Agra Fort. Return to the hotel and then Evening visit Mohabbat the Taj live show at Kalakriti and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Agra / Bharatpur / Sapotra (Drive 225 Kms / 5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Sapotra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikiri & Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Fatehpur Sikri is a small city in northern India, just west of Agra, founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site.

After visiting Fatehpur Sikri continue drive to Sapotara enroute visiting Bharatpur, Keoladeo National Park is a vast bird sanctuary and former royal game reserve in the north Indian state of Rajasthan. South of the ancient city of Bharatpur, the park’s woods and man-made wetlands protect over 350 species of migratory and resident birds, including herons, cormorants and eagles. Upon arrival board the cycle rickshaws and visit the sanctuary for about 2 hrs and then continue drive to Sapotara. Upon arrival transfer to hotel and evening is free for local activities at Hotel. Dinner and overnight at Ramathra Fort.

Day 4 Sapotra

After Breakfast time free for Eco activities i.e. Village Walk, Bird Watching and Boat ride. During the walk you will be taken to the local village houses for interaction with locals and to see their lifestyle and you can also have a bite of local food prepared if you wish to experience it. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Sapotra / Ranthambore (drive 90 Kms / 2 Hrs)

Morning after Breakfast drive to Ranthambore and on arrival transfer to hotel. Ranthambore National Park is a vast wildlife reserve near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, northern India. It is a former royal hunting ground and home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles. Its landmarks include the imposing 10th-century Ranthambore Fort, on a hilltop, and the Ganesh Mandir temple. Also in the park, Padam Talao Lake is known for its abundance of water lilies.

After Lunch Jeep Safari to visit the National Park and then evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 Ranthambore / Jaipur (170/3 hrs)

Morning another Jeep Safari to the National Park and return to the hotel for Breakfast. After wash and change checkout and drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or “Pink City” for its trademark building color. At the center of its stately street grid (notable in India) stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace complex. With gardens, courtyards and museums, part of it is still a royal residence.

Evening visit Amber Fort for the Light and Sound Show and return to the Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7 Jaipur

After Breakfast visit Amber Fort and enjoy an Elephant ride to go upto the Fort.and after visiting the Fort return by Jeeps to the Parking area and continue your tour to City Palace, Observatory, Palace of Winds and then the Local Market. Evening return and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 Jaipur / Chattrasagar (232 / 5 hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Chattrasagar. By the early twentieth century Chhatra Sagar had developed into a lush green oasis. With its wide open spaces and enchanting views, it became the entertainment venue of choice. To capture the outdoor “big sky” feel of the place, permanent construction was deliberately kept to a minimum. A fresh luxury tented camp was created for each party. For many dignitaries visiting Nimaj, Chhatra Sagar” was the highlight. Legendary sporting parties with high tea and exotic dinners became a regular feature.

Upon arrival transfer to Camps and then time free for personal activities in and around camps. Dinner and overnight at camps.

Day 9 Chattrasagar

After Breakfast the day is kept for the local activities i.e. Wildlife Safari, Bird Watching and Farm Visit. Lunch at camps and evening cultural dance performance. Dinner and overnight at Camps.

Day 10 Chattrasagar / Jodhpur (112 / 2 hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted the city’s iconic shade of blue.

Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. After Lunch Half day city tour visiting Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Clock towers. Evening return back to the hotel and stay Overnight.

Day 11 Jodhpur / Chanaudgarh (101 / 2 hrs)

After Breakfast checkout and drive to Chanaudgarh. A luxuriant 300-year-old fort-palace that blends modernity with imperial splendor, Chanoud Garh stands as an oasis amidst the golden sands of the Thar desert. A magnificent home steeped in history, the Garh has been painstakingly restored and transformed into an exquisite heritage stay, bringing together the famed Rajput hospitality, complete with bespoke experiences. Dinner and overnight at Fort.

Day 12 Chanaudgarh

The day is kept free to explore the village and nearby attractions. Evening bird watching tour and then on return Dinner and Overnight at Fort.

Day 13 Chanaudgarh / Jawai ( 60 / 1 hr)

After Breakfast drive to Jawai Dam. Jawai is one of the best places to spot leopards in the whole country and guests will embark on daily early morning and afternoon safaris on the lookout for these big cats in their natural surroundings.Upon arrival transfer to the camps. Evening Jeep safari to see Leopards and return to the camps. Dinner and overnight at Camps.

Day 14 Jawai

After Breakfast day is kept free for another Leopard Safari, Bird Watching & Crocodile Sightings and Village Safari. Dinner and overnight at Camps.

Day 16 Jawai / Udaipur ( 173 / 3 hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival transfer to hotel and then evening Boat Cruise on the lake for a stunning view of City palace and also visit the Jagmandir Island. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 17 Udaipur

After Breakfast tour of City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of Maids) and afternoon is free for personal activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 18 Udaipur / Delhi / Out

After Breakfast checkout at 1200 hrs and then transfer to Airport intime to connect flight to Delhi and upon arrival transfer to International Terminal for onward connecting flight back home.

Day 1 Arrival Mumbai (By International Flight)

On arrival at Mumbai Transfer to hotel. Mumbai (formerly called Bombay) is a densely populated city on India’s west coast. A financial center, it’s India’s largest city. On the Mumbai Harbour waterfront stands the iconic Gateway of India stone arch, built by the British Raj in 1924. Offshore, nearby Elephanta Island holds ancient cave temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The city’s also famous as the heart of the Bollywood film industry. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 Mumbai / Nagpur / Pench (80 / 2 hrs)

Morning after Breakfast transfer to Airport to connect flight to Nagpur and on arrival transfer to Pench which is about 2 hrs drive from Nagpur.

Pench Tiger Reserve or Pench National Park is one of the premier tiger reserves of India and the first one to straddle across two states – Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The reference to Pench is mostly to the tiger reserve in Madhya Pradesh. Upon arrival transfer to the Hotel and then after Lunch Pm Jeep Safari in the National Park and then return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Pench / Kanha (220 / 5 hrs)

Morning after Breakfast drive to Kanha. Kanha National Park is nestled in the Maikal range of Satpuras in Madhya Pradesh, the heart of India that forms the central Indian highlands.The national park is being popularized as the Tiger reserve and interestingly is being declared as one of the finest wildlife areas in the world. Spreading across two revenue districts the Mandala and the Kalaghat, Kanha National Park was declared a reserve forest in 1879 and revalued as a wildlife sanctuary in 1933. Its position was further upgraded to a national park in 1955.

The Kanha National Park is spread across the area of 940 sq km in the Maikal chain of hills. By bringing up the buffer and core zone all together, the Kanha Tiger Reserve has a total area of 1945 sq km.

Upon arrival at Kanha, transfer to a Hotel and take part in the local Eco tourism activities. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Kanha

Early Morning Jeep Safari to National Park to see the Wildlife and then return to the hotel for Breakfast. Time free till afternoon and then after Lunch do another Jeep Safari in the Park and evening return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Resort.

Day 5 Kanha / Bandhavgarh (220 / 5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh. Bandhavgarh National Park is in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This biodiverse park is known for its large population of royal Bengal tigers, especially in the central Tala zone. Other animals include white tigers, leopards and deer. The mix of tropical forest, Sal trees and grassland is home to scores of bird species, including eagles. To the south are the remains of the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort.

Upon arrival transfer to hotel and time free for local Activities. Dinner and overnight at Resort.

Day 6 Bandhavgarh

Morning Jeep Safari at National Park to see the Wildlife and return to the hotel for Breakfast. Relax till Lunch time and then after Lunch another Jeep Safari arranged for you and then return by Evening at Resort for Dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Bandhavgarh / Satpura (245 / 5 Hrs)

Morning after early Breakfast drive to Satpura Tiger Reserve also known as Satpura National Park. Its name is derived from the Satpura range. It covers an area of 524 kms (202 sq mi). Satpura National Park, along with the adjoining Bori and Pachmarhi wildlife sanctuaries, provides 2,200 km2 (850 sq mi) of unique central Indian highland ecosystem. It was set up in 1981.

The terrain of the national park is extremely rugged and consists of sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines and dense forests. The altitude ranges from 300 to 1,352 metres (984 to 4,436 ft). It has Dhoopgarh peak as high as 1,350 metres (4,430 ft) and the almost level plains of Churna.

Upon arrival transfer to the resort and spend time in local activities. Dinner and overnight at Resort.

Day 8 Satpura

Morning Boat ride for bird watching and then have Breakfast. After Wash and change the village walk and then have Lunch at the resort. After Lunch Jeep ride to see the Sloth Bear and return to the resort for Dinner and overnight.

Day 9 Satpura / Bhopal

Morning after breakfast drive to Bhopal. Bhopal is a city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It’s one of India’s greenest cities. There are two main lakes, the Upper Lake and the Lower Lake. On the banks of the Upper Lake is Van Vihar National Park, home to tigers, lions and leopards. The State Museum has fossils, paintings and rare Jain sculptures. Taj-ul-Masjid is one of Asia’s largest mosques, with white domes, minarets and a huge courtyard.

Upon arrival transfer to hotel and afternoon half day tour of Lakes and the Open zoological park. Evening 1 hr boat ride in lake for the stunning views of Bhopal and then return to hotel for Overnight stay.

Day 10 Bhopal / Delhi (flight)

After Breakfast time free for personal activities and then transfer to the airport to connect flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi Transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11 Delhi

After Breakfast full day tour of Delhi visiting Old and New Delhi and then stay overnight at hotel.

Day 12 Delhi Departure

Today intime transfer to Airport to connect flight back home.

Day 1 Arrival in Chennai and drive to Mahabalipuram (40 Kms 1 hr drive)

On arrival at Chennai you will be picked up by our representative and transferred straight to Mahabalipuram which is about 1 hr drive. Upon arrival at Mahabalipuram transfer to hotel Temple Bay.

Mamallapuram, or Mahabalipuram, is a town on a strip of land between the Bay of Bengal and the Great Salt Lake, in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s known for its temples and monuments built by the Pallava dynasty in the 7th and 8th centuries. The seafront Shore Temple comprises 3 ornate granite shrines. Krishna’s Butter Ball is a massive boulder balanced on a small hill near the Ganesha Ratha stone temple.

Day 2 Mahabalipuram

Wake up and walk on the beach followed by one hour Yoga Session and then have a healthy breakfast at the restaurant. After Breakfast have quick wash and change and get ready for todays city tour covering the centuries old monuments like Arjuna’s Penance, a huge monolithic carving, and Krishna Mandapam, the largest rock-cut Hindu temple and shore temple and then spend some time at the local market to get the beautiful coloured pictures and then you can even walk to your resort. Evening is set free for personal activities and if you wish to try your hands on Archery or you can also do some of the adventure activities on direct payment basis as per your interest. You can also book an optional massage therapy. Dinner and overnight at Resort.

Day 3 Mahabalipuram / Pondicherry (120 / 3 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Pondicherry and enroute stop to see the process of Salt in the fields. Upon arrival at Pondicherry transfer to another Beach front Le Pondy Resort.

Pondicherry (or Puducherry), a French colonial settlement in India until 1954, is now a Union Territory town bounded by the southeastern Tamil Nadu state. Its French legacy is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas and chic boutiques. A seaside promenade runs along the Bay of Bengal and passes several statues, including a 4m-high Gandhi Memorial.

Evening Walk on the beach and do optional adventure sports activities or book a massage. If you wish, a village walk can also be arranged to know more about village life.

Day 4 Pondicherry

Morning after Yoga on beach, have Breakfast and then get ready for a day tour of Pondicherry and visit the French town and see the old and new part of Pondicherry. The walk on the promenade is really interesting where you can see the French quarters and the Aurobindo Ashram. Afternoon visit to Maitri Mandir and visit to Ashram During the walk you will also see the Museum. Evening return to the resort and have dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 5 Pondicherry / Kumbakonam / Tanjore (220 / 5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Tanjore enroute visiting the beautiful Chidambaram Temple, Gangaicholapuram Temple and Kumbakonam Darasuram Temples. All these temples are the masterpiece of Architecture. Upon arrival at Kumbakonam we will take you to the CGH Mantra Koodam for ethnic Lunch and then continue the drive to Tanjore. Evening before the sun goes down visit the famous Brihadeeswarar Temple which is Unique Hindu temple with 108 Shiv Lingas in the premises. return to your hotel and time free.

Day 6 Tanjore / Trichy / Chettinad (150 / 3 hrs)

Morning After Breakfast visit the Royal Palace Museum to see The royal objects that are on display in the museum include royal clothing, headgear and hunting weapons. On the upper floor is a skeleton of a 92-feet whale that washed ashore near Tranquebar in 1955. Thanjavur Palace has the famous Saraswathi Mahal library, an art gallery and the Royal Museum with an interesting collection of artifacts, paintings, books and other memorabilia. The paintings in the Darbar Hall retell the stories from the epic Ramayana. The walls and ceilings are covered with detailed stucco figures of gods and goddesses. and then drive to Chettinad enroute visiting Trichy.

Tiruchirappalli (also called Tiruchi or Trichy) is an ancient city in India’s southern Tamil Nadu state. The Kaveri and Kollidam rivers flow around Srirangam Island, which is known for sacred Hindu sites Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, with intricately carved gopurams (towering gateways), and Jambukeswarar-Akilandeswari Temple, dedicated to the god Shiva. The Rock Fort Temple complex towers over the city center. After visiting the temples, continue the drive to Chettinad.

The Chettinad region is well known for its 19th-century mansions, whose wide courtyards and spacious rooms are embellished with marble and teak. Construction materials, decorative items, and furnishings were mostly imported from East Asian countries and Europe. The marble was brought from Italy, chandeliers and teak from Burma, crockery from Indonesia, crystals from Europe and wall-to-wall mirrors from Belgium.

Many of these mansions were built using a type of limestone known as karai. Local legend has it that the mansion walls were polished with a paste made out of egg whites to give them a smooth texture.

Chettinad is also known for its food and you will love the local delecasis here during your stay.

Upon arrival transfer to hotel Visalam, was the splendid house that KVAL Ramanathan Chettiar built for his eldest daughter, Visalakshi, in Chettinad more than a century ago. However, Visalam never became the lively family home it was intended to be and was used only for occasional family gatherings during the period following its construction. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 Chettinad

After Breakfast we will take you to the nearby lovely Mansions and the guide will tell you about the history of this place and the rich owners know as Chettiars and then he will also take you the Saree weaving center and Basket making place where the local ladies come and make baskets to earn some money for their families. Later after visiting these places the guide will also take you to the handmade cement tiles place where you will see the demonstration of how the local tiles are made which you would have seen in the Mansions. These tiles are so beautiful that you will take some small tiles as a souvenir for your loved ones. Evening time free for Bullock cart ride and swimming or a massage at the hotel.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 Chettinad / Madurai (120 / 2 hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Madurai, is an energetic, ancient city on the Vaigai River in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Its skyline is dominated by the 14 colorful gopurams (gateway towers) of Meenakshi Amman Temple. Covered in bright carvings of Hindu gods, the Dravidian-style temple is a major pilgrimage site. Millions attend the processions and ceremonies of April’s Chithirai Festival celebrating Meenakshi and Lord Vishnu.

Upon arrival at the Taj Gateway Madurai, The Gateway Hotel, Madurai sits at the top of the Pasumalai hill, surrounded by 62 acres of scenic gardens. The hotel serves a perfect vintage point to take in the picturesque views of the temple town and the Kodai hills.

Afternoon your guide will take you to Madurai city to show you the famous Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Local Market Area and then return back to the hotel. Late evening we will arrange a Tuk Tuk (Three Wheeler) to witness the evening Aarti ceremony which is a unique activity and to visit the Temple complex. Here one thing to keep in mind that non hindus can not enter in the center centaurium of the temple. The security here is really tight and you have to leave everything outside in lockers so better while leaving your hotel to visit the temple leave your stuff at the hotel.

Late at night around 1030 hrs return to the hotel by the same Tuk Tuk’s and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 Madurai / Periyar (135 / 3 hrs)

After Breakfast drive to Periyar. Today you will change the states from Tamil Nadu to Kerala. Periyar National Park, also known as Periyar Tiger Reserve, is in the mountainous Western Ghats of Kerala, southern India. This wildlife sanctuary is home to tigers and a significant elephant population, as well as rare lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards and Indian bison. In the park’s north, Periyar Lake is popular for boat rides. Farther north, spice plantations surround the town of Kumily.

While driving to Periyar you will see the plantations of Mangos, Betel nuts, Banana, Grapes and Sugar canes and you will also see the local roadside shops selling the local wines.

On arrival at Periyar you will be transferred to the Spice Village. From the name you can think about the property and this is the best hotel in Town with perfection in all fields and specially the food. Spice Village is a ‘village’ that offers you all the comforts of a city minus the noise, pollution and other urban ills that you can do without. The interaction with the ecology of these hills is symbiotic, influenced by the native people of these parts who have lived in harmony with its surroundings for generations.

After Lunch relax a bit and around 1500 hrs get ready for a Boat ride in the National Parks to witness the wilderness. If you are lucky you will spot a bunch of Elephants in the park and other animals and Birds. Evening when the birds will be returning home you also return to your resort and witness a cultural performance near the restaurant and reception and if you are interested in cooking, check about the timings at the Village as they have cooking demonstrations every evening.

Dinner and Overnight at Village.

Day 10 Periyar / Kumarakom (145 / 4 hrs)

Early morning a walking can be arranged with a naturalist to visit the Organic farm and to also know about the tree and plants inside the property. Then after wash and change get ready for another drive down the hill and enroute see the Tea Plantations, Cardamom, Rubber Plantations and Pineapple plantations. Upon arrival at Kumarakom transfer to another Eco friendly hotel Coconut Lagoon.

Kumarakom is a village on Vembanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala, southern India. It’s laced with canals, where houseboats ply the waters. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is home to many species including cuckoos and Siberian storks. Nearby, the Bay Island Driftwood Museum displays wooden sculptures. In the lake, Pathiramanal Island is a haven for rare migratory birds. Ancient Thazhathangady Mosque is east of Kumarakom.

“Coconut Lagoon is located in a sheltered and enchanting cove in Kumarakom, this resort reflects the diversity and magnificence of Vemband Lake.

Upon Arrival transfer to Resort by boat and then relax for a while before you will be taken on a sharing Sunset Cruise by the resort. Return to hotel for a cultural performance then dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 11 Kumarakom

Early Morning do some Yoga at the resort where the instructor will teach you the basics of Yoga which you can try back home also. Later after wash and change have leisurely Breakfast and then time free for personal Eco Friendly activities at the resort i.e. Butterfly Garden, Bird Watching, Canoe Ride and Ayurveda Massages. Actually, here at the resort they are not wasting waste, and turn out wet waste into Biogas & Vermicompost used as a cooking fuel & manure respectively. Some of the dry waste is used in truly creative ways i.e plastic bottles make for an attractive interim building material, while paper cans, cups and bottles are up-cycled into decorative items.

Lunch / Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 12 Kumarakom / Cochin (60 / 1 hr)

Morning after Breakfast say bye bye to the staff at this lovely resort and then transfer by boat to the jetty where your driver will be waiting for you to take you to Cochin.

Kochi (also known as Cochin) is a city in southwest India’s coastal Kerala state. It has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Kochi, a settlement with tiled colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship. Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, typical of Kochi, have been in use for centuries.

Upon arrival transfer to another landmark Hotel facing the harbour known as Brunton Boatyard. ‘An amalgamation of the architectural splendour of Fort Kochi’s colonial past.’ “Brunton boatyard in Fort Kochi is inspired from its colonial history. A former shipyard in British times, it has been converted by us to faithfully reflect the symbols and signs of a historical period known for its stately grandeur and good taste as expressed through its ambiance, amenities, service and food.”

Afternoon you are free to walk outside the hotel to witness the Fish markets and working Chinese Fishing Nets and your guide will take you and tell you all about this beautiful place. Then return back to the hotel and take a Sunset cruise to see the 7 different Islands at Cochin and know the history and other important facts of Cochin.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 Cochin

Today after Breakfast the guide will take you to the highlights of Cochin i.e. St. Francis Church, Jew Town, Mattancherry Palaceand walk on the famous princes street and then return to the hotel before noon. Afternoon is completely free to enjoy the pool and if you are interested in Cooking then a cooking demonstration will also be arranged. Evening will take you to the nearby theater to witness the Kathakali dance performance by local artists. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 Cochin fly out

after Breakfast Checkout and intime transfer to the airport to fly back home.

• The Art of Navigation & Navigating was born in the river Sindh over 6000 years ago. The very word Navigation is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘NAVGATIH’. The word navy is also derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Nou’.

• Bhaskaracharya rightly calculated the time taken by the earth to orbit the Sun hundreds of years before the astronomer Smart. According to his calculation, the time taken by the Earth to orbit the Sun was 365.258756484 days.
