INDUS VALLEY RIVER RAFTING
The Indus Valley River rafting offers a spectacular river rafting course along with camps at interesting locations. Much easier and quieter than the Zanskar, the Indus is suitable for Grade II and III trips. The river, which originates in Tibet, flows down through Ladakh, past Leh, and then passes into Pakistan

Day 1 Delhi – Leh (By Flight)
Welcome upon arrival at the Leh airport (3,500m) and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is fee for acclimatization. Overnight at hotel
Day 2 In Leh
Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Sankar monastery, Peace Pagoda and Changspa Chorten which is situated on the valley floor. Afternoon is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel
Day 3 Leh – Hemis – Stakna – Thiksey
Morning after breakfast, we drive 50 kms to visit the famous Hemis Monastery. Later drive back to Stakna. Upon arrival meet the Rafting team who will give you instructions on Rafting and safety. Raft along Smooth River to reach Thiksey. Stop at Stakna Bridge and have a Lunch. Afternoon Raft again and stop at Thiksey. Overnight at hotel
Day 4 Thikse – Spituk
After an early breakfast, drive to visit Thiksey Monastery. Later drive 2 kms further to visit Shey Palace. Drive back to camp and start Rafting to reach Spituk, en-route lunch. Overnight at hotel
Day 5 Spituk – Nimu
Morning after an early breakfast proceed to visit Spituk Monastery situated at the end of the Leh airport. Later drive back to the Rafting camp and start the final part of the Rafting till Nimu. Rafting will finish after the confluence of River Zanskar and Indus at Nimu. Later proceed for a short village visit to Nimu. Overnight at hotel
Day 6 Nimu – Likir – Leh
Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit the Likir Monastery which has an impressive sitting statue of Maitreya Buddha. On the way back visit Basgo Monastery. Later drive back to Leh and on arrival check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7 Leh – Delhi (By Flight) & Departure
After early morning breakfast, we transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. On arrival transfer to International airport to board flight for your next destination.
