Located in the interior of Sri Lanka, Dambulla is famous for its incredible cave temple complex which are the largest and best-preserved cave temple compound full of beautiful statues of Buddha, as well as fantastic wall paintings. There are above 80 chronicle caves around this location. The most prominent allures are advanced over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are depicted to Lord Buddha and his life. There are a total of 153 Buddha statues, 3 statues of Sri Lankan kings and 4 statues of gods and goddesses.

    Day 1
    Arrival Colombo - Dambulla

    Arrive at Colombo International Airport and receive a warm welcome. Transfer to Dambulla. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 2
    Dambulla

    Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Polonnaruwa, including the Royal Palace, Gal Viharaya, and other historic sites. Proceed to Sigiriya for a climb and sightseeing of the UNESCO World Heritage Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 3
    Dambulla

    Breakfast at the hotel. Explore Anuradhapura, including Sri Mahabodhi, Brazen Palace, Ruwanweli Seya, and more. Visit Mihintale, the cradle of Buddhism. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 4
    Dambulla - Kandy

    Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, then proceed to Kandy. En route, visit a spice garden. In Kandy, enjoy a traditional dance show. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 5
    Kandy

    Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and return to Kandy for a city tour, including the Temple of the Tooth. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 6
    Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

    Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Nuwara Eliya, visiting a tea factory en route. Explore Nuwara Eliya, known for its tea plantations and scenic beauty. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 7
    Nuwara Eliya - Colombo

    Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Colombo for a city tour, including landmarks like Pettah Bazaar, temples, and colonial buildings. Check-in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 8
    Colombo - Departure

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
