Day 1
DAY 01 II ARRIVAL GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA II FLIGHT & 170 KMS / 3 HRS

Upon arrival at Guwahati airport after traditional welcome you will be transferred to Kaziranga National Park enjoying scenic drive through Assam’s countryside. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. After freshen-up take a leisurely stroll around the resorts premises while enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2
DAY 02 II KAZIRANGA TO MAJULI ISLAND II FERRY

Early morning enjoy safari at Kaziranga National Park to spot rhinos, elephants, and other wildlife. (Govt run elephant safari tickets are subjected to availability and cannot be booked in advance). Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and drive to Nimati Ghat to board ferry to Majuli Island, the largest river island. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel/resort. Later enjoy a traditional Assamese lunch.

Evening, visit and interact with the local villagers and experience their day to day life. Post visit, witness a cultural program showcasing the Assamese traditions. Overnight at resort/homestay.

Day 3
DAY 03 II FULL DAY MAJULI ISLAND

After breakfast, proceed to learn the spiritual, cultural significance and lives of the monks by visiting the Satras a unique Vaishnavite monastery of Majuli Island. Later visit the Mask Making Village to witness the creation of traditional masks and participate in a mask-making workshop. Enjoy traditional Assamese lunch at a local restaurant.

Explore the tribal villages during sunset. Return to the hotel.  Overnight at resort/homestay.

Day 4
DAY 04 II MAJULI ISLAND TO KOHIMA II FERRY

Check-out from Majuli Island and transfer by ferry to Nimati Ghat. On arrival, drive to Kohima enroute to Kisama. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5
DAY 05 II ENJOY HORNBILL FESTIVAL

Early breakfast, proceed to Naga Heritage Village Kisama to attend the Hornbill Festival and immerse yourself in Naga culture, art and traditions. Enjoy traditional Naga dishes at the local food stalls. Post lunch; witness various cultural performances and indigenous games. Evening enjoy a festive atmosphere with the illuminated village. Return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6
DAY 06 II ENJOY HORNBILL FESTIVAL

Another day to attend this captivating Hornbill Festival by visiting workshops showcasing Naga crafts, music and dance. Join in the traditional Naga dance and music performances. Later explore the marketplace for unique handicrafts and souvenirs.

In the evening attend the cultural gala and musical performances by capture the vibrant atmosphere through photography. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7
DAY 07 II EXPLORE KHONOMA & DZULEKE

Today leave for this beautiful village of Khonoma, known for its conservation efforts. Explore the village's lush terraced fields and learn about its eco-friendly practices. Later continue drive to Dzuleke, a community-based ecotourism destination. Interact with the local villagers and participate in the local activities. Enjoy a traditional Naga lunch at a local village house. Post lunch; embark on a guided trek to explore the surrounding landscapes. By evening return to Kohima. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8
DAY 08 II KOHIMA – DIMAPUR DEPARTUTRE II FLIGHT

After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Dimapur airport to board your flight to the onward destination.
